Hello! i was wondering how many scales do you probe your ball pythons. I have some proved males witch will probe only 3 scales! And i have a female probing 5 scales... how do you really can tell of is a male or a female without proving them?
On my male hatchlings i can pop really easy on some males, and thats 100% male, but sometimes i dont pop anything and the probe goes to deep like +4scales, and othertimes poping males but probing only 2, 3 or 4 scales.
