Which boa?

I can't decide between a brb and a boa constrictor, which one is overall a better pet? I'm not looking to breed and the caging is not an issue, just looking at overall maintenance like feeding etc

So many things to consider ..
What sex of Boa are you thinking ? My male Snow seems to be topping out at 7' but females can get longer and WIDER .. He's very handleable and docile and slow moving and trustworthy . My BRBs were smaller and more of a display animal ( evening colours are spectacular .
BRBs are more nocturnal in my experience so are a better evening experience .

My vote is a BC. I have never had a BRB but both my BCI girls are a joy most of the time. They generally love to come out and hang out and seem fairly social. the only downside is my 6' Colombian girl loves to climb on shelves or tables and loves to knock stuff off. She also loves to hang off stuff that is way too small for her like lamps. I swear I think she thinks she's still a baby. Anyways, that's my vote, cant go wrong with a BCI.

I have several of both species and they are all awesome pets.

The BRB is a bit harder to keep as it has a narrower temperature range and higher humidity requirements, but getting the right setup for it (no fish tanks) makes it easy.

Otherwise the BRB will cost a bit less to keep as an adult as they don't get as big so you can get away with a slightly smaller enclosure and you will have a lower food bill. My adult BRB's are on a medium rat every 3 weeks while my adult BCI's are on a jumbo rat or 16-24 oz rabbit every month.

As far as interactions go, my BRB's don't really seem to care either way for/about people. The BCI's seem more interested in the goings-on in the room.
