SDA in feeder rats and effects on Ball Pythons

Hey Folks,

I've got a new batch of breeders in recently and while I am probably being a bit paranoid I've got a small adult rat thats got a swollen neck.... Worst case scenario and it is the start of a SDA outbreak... anyone know if this sort of virus has any effect on ball pythons or not? I've got some pretty expensive snakes and would rather cull my entire feeder operation if the need be rather than take a chance, but I can't seem to find any info on the transmission of this virus to snakes. Thoughts?
