blackhead x phantom update

Woke up to find her shifting around and just start laying! I think she has 2 out and I only felt a few in there when I gently checked last. This is the snake I bought a few months ago and ovulated shortly after that hadn't been paired since her clutch last year so I wasn't expecting much from retained sperm and still anxious to see if they're fertile. The one I saw coming out here looks good but others felt much smaller so we'll see!

Well this is disappointing but kinda what I expected. I think I'll give her the next year off and get her weight way up. She was just under 1600g when I got her a few months ago and is down to 1200 now empty.

well, it looks like you got one good one there.

Sadly it happens and next year she might give you 10 eggs who knows.

Yep I stuck the one egg in the incubator. It has a bit of a "nipple" you can see towards the right side but fingers crossed it holds up.

Good luck! My friend got only *one* good egg out of a double het albino pied to double het albino pied and that one little egg held a perfect little albino pied despite all the odds!

Nice! I'm fully expecting it to be a normal so I don't set myself up to be disappointed.

To bad there is only 1 good egg but at least you got one and with a bit of luck it is a Blackhead or even a Blackhead Phantom!
