Ball python's mouth covered in coconut fiber after he ate
I just fed my 200 gram ball python a mouse and i guess the substrate was wet from misting. I just checked on him after I fed him and the inside of his mouth is covered in coconut fiber. Do I need to do anything?
Re: Ball python's mouth covered in coconut fiber after he ate
I second the previous post, my boy frequently has bits of coco fiber in his mouth after a meal and he always seems to sort it out just fine. If he has a large piece sticking out that seems to be bothering him and I can pull it out for him I try to, but it has never been a problem. The only time it would be a concern is if his windpipe seems blocked and he is in obvious distress over it. I know how stressful it can be to see them with a "muddy" mouth. Just try not to stress over it. :)

Had the same problem with my coconut fiber, if there's been a bigger piece in his mouth annoying him he would always let my pick it out :D
