    Bloody shed?!?!
Hey guys! so this is my bp's first bad shed. He still has one piece of him still on him and i'm soaking him now to get try and get it off.
But this time, when I went to get his shed, I noticed some blood in his hide near his poop.
This is a first for me, and I don't know if I should worry or not. He withheld his poop for about 2 weeks before this, so could he just have bled a little trying to push out too much poo....?

Not uncommon to see right after a shed. The snakes backdoor will sometimes bleed a bit when the skin comes off.

Sometimes they get in a rush to get the skin off and tear a little on their butt as that skin comes off too. Nothing to worry about unless you see him leaving blood trails.
