    Pest control?
The new complex we live in does bi-monthly pest control in all bathrooms and the kitchen. One bathroom is attached to the reptile room. Would this be harmful to them? I think they spray the base boards

You are on the up & up with the bldg. mgt., right?
I would tape off the room anyway, but you can ask for the MSDS sheet of what they are using. That sheet should list the chemicals and hazards. You should be able to look up information for hazards to reptiles up from there, once you know exactly what they are spraying.

We went thru this several years ago with our house bunny.

Yea, we told them about them and they didn't care one bit. I'm just worried

Hi, do you have to accept their pest control? You know, is it mandatory that you have them do it? If possible, consider declining and just let them know you have your own pest control practice. :)

I can elect to have them avoid certain rooms, yes

Maybe it's the climate you live in, but are pests that big of a problem? I'd decline the treatment.

I've never heard of regular bi-monthly pest control. I don't know what they'd be spraying, but I can't imagine it's very healthy for humans, let alone animals. (Actually, dogs and cats would probably be worst because they live at baseboard level and brush into things, lick things, etc)
Do you live in Florida or something? Is it a southern thing?

It depends on how warm you keep your place and how clean it is

Is that a normal thing in South Florida? What do they spray , and what pests does it control? Do all multi unit buildings do that?

I guess. It's my first apt so I'm not sure. My friend used to live here and whenever she refused treatment, she had palmettos, water bugs, and the occasional roach. So I kinda want it but I'm just worried. Could closing the bathroom door after treatment help?
