    This girl made a run for it as soon as i opened her tub... If she only knew what was 5 inches behind her I beleive she would have stayed home..lol

    Good thing it wasn't a hungry kingsnake! You might have ended up with a snake with a concussion and a gecko who never wanted to leave her home again! ;)

    Yeah thats a JCP.. One gulp and that gecko would be snake poo..lol.. She is eating jumbo rats with ease right now...

    Yes, exactly. It is a good thing it wasn't a hungry kingsnake -- you know, a snake whose primary preferred prey is reptiles? Carpet pythons prefer mammals, birds, and marsupials, as you might know, so even a hungry carpet python isn't likely to be a threat to a gecko in most cases. A hungry kingsnake, on the other hand, is pretty likely to strike. Guess I wasn't clear in what I was saying.

    Heheh - young JCP's on the other hand (if as nippy as ours) will snap at anything moving nearby. I hear them tapping a "greeting" against the plastic most times I walk by.
