    Ibm or spider gene?
Earlier today i posted a thread talking about how my snake was doing weird things like cork screwing and flipping his head and then i was told it was all about the spider gene and im pretty sure that's what it is, but now ive been reading about ibm and one symptom is star gazing, my snake was doing that as well, is it also the spider gene causing star gazing? (Which is lifting his head up high and staying there for like a min) im just a bit confused right now.

You mean IBD? IBD is a fetal disease for which there is no cure animals can be asymptomatic for years, on of the symptom is indeed stargazing sadly those days soon as an animal does something out of the ordinary people jump to conclusion that it is IBD when in fact it is pretty rare.

Reading about symptoms and diseases is not always the best thing to do.

If your BP is a spider what you are experiencing is pretty normal just search wobble, spinning, it is a neurological disorder. All spiders do to a degree it can get better or worse as the animal grows, temps, stress may also affect it.

Other mutation also show similar issues.

IBM? u mean IBD - Inclusion Body Disease?

for a Spider-gene BP with a wobble, the only way to know for sure is to take it to a vet and get blood work done. wobbles vary greatly. my OD Spider has none and my Honeybee has a slight wobble when he gets really excited like if i dangle his food in front of him rather than let him hunt (he eats live).

maybe a pix or vid would help. but what i think u may be referring to stargazing might be periscope get - your BP standing tall to peep it's surrounding. search for it - there's threads with pix dedicated to periscoping.

if it makes you feel better i have a pinstripe who used to go up the wall to the top of his tank and then try to go across the top until he would start to not be able to hold him self and then just sit there like that testing the lid to see if he could get out. hes in a rack now and is acting "normal" for the last 5 months. and yeah he used to go upside down at times but only when exploring.
