quick question about feeding

Hello guys just a quick question I can't seemed to find anywhere. When your BP doesn't feed on his feeding day is it best to wait a week? I'm not worried about him missing a meal as much as how often I'm supposed to offer up another meal. All my parameters are met with the exception there might not be enough clutter.

From what I've read it seems like you should just wait a week and try again on the regular feeding day. I'm no expert just passing along what I've read.

I have read quite a few times that you should wait until the next feeding day. Do this three times in a row. If this fails all three times skip a feeding week and then offer again. Make sure your husbandry is 100% and monitor weight to ensure there is no significant weight loss. Have you changed anything? Feeding style, Prey type, prey size, f\t, Live, F\K. Did the bps enclosure change in any way ie location, temperature, new hide? Any of things could have put him\her off. Just keep trying :gj:

3) Give a hardy Woo Hoo when your BP eats
4) If by chance your BP doesn't eat, double check husbandry, then repeat this process on the same day the following week
5) Repeat for the life of your snake :snake:

Thanks for the replies. I did just get him from the breeder on 2/13/2016 so possibly just acclimating. I am running the accurite temp gauge on the cool side with the probe underneath the substrate on top of UTH. tstat for the UTH is set to 85 and 50w inferred red bulb comes on and off for 30 mins on and 45 mins off. Light is used as it is a 20L glass and helps boost ambient temp from 80 to 90. While temps are taken in the hides and surface with IR temp gun. I'm pretty confident he's just getting used to the new space. His feeding days with the breeder where Wednesdays so I will try again then. And yes I do weigh him every Monday night and he's still little ole 75g.
