Uses for empty tank?
Someone just gave me a 55 gallon tank measuring 13 x 21 x 48 and I was wondering what people would suggest I house in it.

That's an awkward tank for reptiles... Dimensions are off, maybe arboreal or land geckos? A large colony of anoles? Garter snake, but it's a bit big. Frogs?
plant it out and do something.

With a few mods it's perfect for many snakes. http://www.redtailboas.com/f140/55-i...pinions-67266/

Start a fern collection, and call the tank a Wardian case.
Mist with rainwater only, if you have hard water. I learned that the hard way when I was trying to keep a collection (in of all places, the moonscape of El Paso, TX) The more I misted, the worse they looked. Eventually they all perished. Fortunately, many ferns sold in small pots are inexpensive. Miniature orchids are nice too - but that's way out of my budget.
You could, of all things, put a fish in there.
Does it hold water?

Put it on the floor of your snake room and drop all your spare change in it. When you get it filled up you can buy a really cool quad gene female ;)

If you can make a plexiglass top for it, you could keep a Savu python in it. They like to climb so they would use the space, and they're very thin so the fact that it's narrow won't be a problem.

I was drinking my coffee it occurred to me....

I was thinking this as well. She said they tested it but I don't think they did and I can always buy sealant 😉 otherwise, how about a beardie?
