    Flat Breeding Female
    Hey everyone,

I've been introducing my male black pastel python to my pastel pied female now for several months. She just went off feed 3 weeks ago and today I noticed she looks really flat. Has anyone experienced this before? I haven't and I'm nervous she's sick.

I have a couple females that have a flat look so I wouldnt worry too much. They are older though and have had multiple clutches.
    How old is yours>?

Mine look flat from time to time too. I think they're just spreading out to soak up more heat. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Thanks for the replies! She'll be 5 years old this July.

That makes me feel a little better that it doesn't seem like anything is wrong with her. I'll keep an eye on her just in case.
