new pics of my weird het pied
So it was cleaning day today and dante my het pied, that some of you will remember from a previous post and all of you will see he is my avatar, had shed
Now he gets better every shed and I have not taken a photo of him in some time but felt this one had to be shared
taken in full sun no flash no editing granted it is on a phone camera and yes he is realy that black and orangish yellow in person
it is the closest photo to his true color that i have managed to get so far he is now near 400 grams and has sperm plugs so I may toss him in with a girl or two just to see how he does of course he will be fully supervised durring his first few times with his lady friend any imput on what may be or may not be going on with his genetics will be appreciated pairing that produced him was a pied x huffman

Huffan is a co-dom morph, and he's got some similar patterning to what I've seen, so not super unlikely that he could be more that just het pied. Wow is he a bright, high contrast kid though!

yea I have looked for answers to him since he was born Im not sure he is huffman closest i can see in person is lepord pastel het pied but where did the pastel come from as I know his parents are not pastel unless they were the lowest of the low pastels but he is just too bright to not have some color enhancer the thing that has thrown me is his yellows are getting brighter and blacks deeper and darker every time he sheds here ill post a pic on the clutch and you can pick him right out easy sorry tho it isnt a great pic
just look at him next to his clutch mates he stands alone
I have said it before but he is truly my fav snake even if he doesnt prove out anything but pied

If nothing else, definitely a dinker project. If I were you I'd try pairing him to a normal (or other het pied just so you're as like to get some pieds out of the deal) to try to isolate whatever is going on there, or throw him at some enhancer genes like enchi, fire, or pastel. Certainly some neat things to come out of it either way!

I have a female that is kind of a dinker that is ready now that I may put him in with
first she is a captive hatched from a wild caught gravid female. she has a blade/spider pattern to her well basicly she looks like a spider but her pattern is wider than a spider ill post a pic or 2 of her here once i get a good shot of it maybe tonight but probaly in the morning just dont know if i want to mix two dinkers

so try as i might the girl just wouldnt hold still I took some pics but must admit they are not the greatest but I think you will be able to see the wobble in her back pattern I was talking about
here she isshe may be nothing than a odd patterened normal but I want to see if I can make that wobbled pattern reproduce its self
