Secret love affair or just keeping the tails warm??

So I checked on my pied pairing this morning, Have not seen a lock from them yet and this is the 4th time they have been paired and needless to say ..... I still have not "SEEN" a lock :frustrate LOL ... However I am hoping for twisted tails at the bottom of this pile of snake flesh ..... Anyone else ever have a "to be or not to be" moment like this?

Mine do this a lot. For the sake of not getting my hopes up I don't count is as copulation unless I actually see the tails twisted together.

However, I have read that males will lay on the female to get her tail into position so they can force the cloaca open. That could be happening here!

What kind of pied is that, is he really that sandy color or is that because of lighting

Yea that's what I'm hoping for .... All of my other pairing have gone smoothly, this is a first for me ... Their tails are definitely at least touching in this pic but who knows if they were actually locked .. he was doing a really good job of keeping me in suspense lol

Nothing special just a regular ol' pied .... It was just the lighting, he's actually got quite a bit of light orange in his color but somehow the camera turned it to the sandy color your seeing LOL

Ahhh... Is there a pied morph that actually has that color cause im really loving the pied look with that sandy color
