Bleeding on one of the spurs

More problems, I think needs a new thread... Yukon just shed, and I found blood on his shed and some blood on his scales. It looks like the blood is coming from one of his spurs. I can post pictures as well.
What could have caused his? He only has aspen, a hide, and a water bowl in his tub.

It's not uncommon after a shed ... Nothing to worry about unless it doesn't stop

Well, thank goodness it seems to have stopped now. There was kind of a lot of blood, so I freaked out... I found that a piece of shed was stuck on the spur and I guess somehow pulled it to bleed.

What solution should be used to clean BP wounds?

I would have freaked too.
Hope it's nothing.
Maybe just noticeable because everything shows on a white snake?

Yeah, I'm sure that made it look way worse... or just that you can't see injuries on dark snakes. There was bright blood smudged all over his back, and I thought he was bleeding through his scales at first, but it was just his spur...

Yeah, I've had this happen to my snakes a couple times as well. A little spotting around the spurs after a shed is pretty common from my understanding, the skin pulls a little as it's coming off.
