    Mods/techs...re: phpbb to Vbulletin...
Is it possible to import old posts from phpbb or postnuke to vBulletin, or am I looking at a lesson in masochism?

This software just seems to have a lot to offer...

    Any input is appreciated!

It's definitely possible. We migrated from pnphpbb2 to vBulletin 3, and there is an importer available. It's a really good idea to have someone who is compfortable directly navigating the database system you use (generally mysql) for when issues crop up, as I had to do a few times. If you are comfortable with phpmysql or whatever the appropriate db management system is for your database, I'd say go for it. If not, I'd suggest involving someone who is comfortable with it, just in case.
