    formula
    Hello everyone,

Is there a formula in mixing vermiculite with water like 100 grams of vermiculite with 100 grams of water or is it purely done with touch?

I have read and seen youtube movies about how it should clumb together but also easily crumble (or something like that) but since it is my first clutch that's on the way I am not sure if I can trust myself with that "feeling" method haha

    ok thanks Robert.

I guess it is better if it is a bit on the dry side and if the eggs dimple put in a little extra water, right?

I do a 1:2 water to vermiculite ratio by weight. You can use other ratios, but I like to just be able to put the tub on the scale and measure everything out.
