Dude.....I got a Dell

Finally got me a new computer and am able to get back to being part of this fine community. This site has changed alot and its going to take me awhile to get use to it, but im sure this ole man can adjust. Just glad to be back.

Yay! Glad to see you back. :) You can get the colors of the old site back by choosing the Khaktastic theme from the Change Themes box if you want. How's Cheetah doing? Does he have any scarring left?

Yeah, I allready changed it to the Khaktstic theme.

Cheetah has no scarring, but he is still basically still un-handable. I can hold him (with gloves) but dont dare hold him to close to my face. I really dont think he is ever going to calm down. He is growing like a weed and getting thick. He has allready matched Monty Joes size and is about 2 years younger, so maybe he is a she....

You were a step ahead of me, then. :) Cheetah may be handleable with time, but some of them just never acclimate and s/he definitely had a rough time of it before coming to you. I'm glad s/he healed well enough that there's no scarring, though. That shows just how well they can recover if given what they need. Do you think you'd try to breed them if Cheetah turns out to be a she, or just leave well enough alone?

How has the recent rescue kitty been doing? It's glad to see you back on the site Ironhead :)

The thought had crossed my mind about possibly breeding them if Cheetah turned out to be female, but I doubt that I ever will. I think I will leave that to the professionals.

The rescue kitty, named Gilligan, was recently diagnosed with FIV. I had taken him in to have his immunizations, front declaw and castrated. The vet called me and said that he was FIV positive. He recommended that I put him down but that was not in my vocabulary. I told the vet that he would stay a part of this family until I believe that he is suffering. I ended up only having him castrated and immunized. But he is a very loveable and happy kitty at this time. I just hope he can live a decent life. They say that there are some type of shot that helps with this but that it is not a cure. When I get some pictures of him I will post them.
