Welcome to BP.net! Pretty pit you have. A normal ball python is pretty cheap. Not sure what you mean by cheap though.

I mean I'm not gonna pay tons of money for a snake like over $150 :)

    Love the pitts.
Nothing wrong with cheap - put that money toward the t-stat.

(Referencing another thread on the Main right now, you could be rescuing a perfectly healthy $10 normal from the fate of kingsnake food.)

Welcome to the forum from one pit lover to another.

The best advice I can give at this point (and you may have already done this) is to make sure you research on the husbandry and care of a ball python .... If you decide to go with a normal ball python you will likely spend $10 to $20 on the animal itself (this quote is if you buy from a breeder direct or a reputable reptile shop) .... The enclosure and set up you are going to need to properly care for and have a healthy and happy pet and have to maintain is going to cost more than the snake itself (don't get discouraged there are many different options and I'm only talking a price of $80 probably minimum cost- enclosure, uth, thermostat, substrate, hides) the enclosure size is going to need to be upgraded as the ball python grows (probably three different size enclosures as the snake grows, and it will likely be in the third and final sized enclosure by the time it reaches 3 to 4 years of age)
