they are very beautiful snakes and they dont get as big as other BCIs. i would definately try to obtain one of those if I could. geez...imagine the albinos that bci would produce.

i definately have to agree with marla. :)

if these animals were readily available, i think they would sell great. A beautiful bci that gets about 6 ft long. I know I would have to buy some.

    Darn skippy!!! :D

I'd recommend getting in touch with Dennis Sargent down in FL...I know he was breeding these boas for quite a while, and he may still be working with them. Dennis is a top-notch guy with excellent animals. He's on the board of directors with the Central Florida Herp Society, so I'd imagine they'd be able to put you in touch with him. According to the link, Dennis sold his all off after just two clutches when he moved to Florida. Now wouldn't it be sweet if that were wrong and he's still breeding them? Just in case, I can hook ya up with a travel agent and an interpreter Kara. ;)

For a long time that was the only boa I really really liked. (silly me, I like snow boas...figures, I like the $5k snake :P ) I'd like to see somebody breeding them again. It's too bad dennis couldn't keep breeding when he got his new job.

Definitely double check with Dennis. For some reason I seem to remember him having some @ Daytona last year. Then again...that could have just been the culmination of a hurricane, sleep deprivation & an obscene amount of alcohol...

Well, if nothing else, he may be able to point you in the right direction or put you in touch with folks who purchased his & are possibly producing them now.
