    Damaged scales/broken scales
    Hi guys,

While I've always enjoyed reptiles, I'm fairly new into the hobby. Last year a Normal ph Pied male was bestowed upon me when a friend of mine moved, and I have since gotten interested in BP breeding, morphs, etc.

But today I took Vince out of his tank and noticed 2 scales missing, they appear to be broken off jaggedly, and I'm not sure whether to be concerned or not. (I've noticed a few places where one or two scaled look "wrinkled" or imperfect, and this was one of those spots before they went missing.) Please advise.

    Thanks guys!!

    Slim
Looks like a bite. Do you feed live? Could a rat have taken a hack at him?

    He's on f/t

Note: this little patch of scales has looked weird through 4 sheds, they looked like where a paper gets hit with a rock, crinkled, not showing iridescence after sheds, not sure if it's a skin/scale problem, or just a weird spot.
