    Mixing Lines??
    Hi guys.

I'm asking this question because in the past few weeks i have seen a couple of Renowned Breeders posting Combos that I always though as for the lack of a better word, "line killer". I'm speaking about 8Balls (Black Pastel - Cinnamon), some BELs made of Lesser - Butter etc etc etc. My question is, Am I been melodramatic about this combos? I would never mix a Black Pastel with Cinnamon or a Butter with a Lesser or a Coral Glow with a Banana ECT nor would I buy from some one who to my knowledge is making those combos. What are your thoughts about that.

    Thank you

If you don't like or want then don't buy the combo.
I don't see the problem with them.

Of course I would not buy those combos and also i would not judge anyone who do, But if I want to keep lines pure and produce for a example a GARGOYLE or a Black Pewter, both which are made with Black Pastel you can't use an 8ball, you see that's the problem, or at lease is for me. If people like you don't have a problem with that, fine, I just wanted to know your opinion about this. Thanks for you input.

The way I see it, there are sooo many animals out there. It's really of no consequence to me at all what others do in their projects. So maybe just a little melodramatic lol

Sounds a bit dramatic to not buy from a breeder for this reason alone.

Well yeah, you have your reasons to buy or not to buy from a specific breeder and I have mine. I for once want to be sure of what are you selling me. I want to be sure that you are selling me a Butter and not a Lesser for example, wouldn't you?

Personally, no. I couldn't care less if it's called Butter or Lesser, I can't spot the difference.

There is a difference between buying a combo and buying animals with a production goal.
IF you are wanting to buy x and y to make z I would assume you already knew what you were looking at and for.
That is all part of the game.
If you don't know what you are buying then that is just as much on you as a breeder saying its something its not.
My Lesser Mojave (BEL) is just that until I breed her and prove there is or isn't Pastel in the mix.
    Honesty.
That's good enough for people like me.
