    Snake Apps?
    Hi All,

So yeah, does anyone know of any good snake apps? You know, for like recording weight, measuring, stuff like that? But for Android. I tried SerpWidget, but that seems to only be for IOS.

    Thanks,
    Herpo

The only one I have EVER liked is Reptile Scan but it costs $30 some odd dollars. You wont find a good one for free...

I have Time2Feed and it works pretty well, but there's no cloud function, and no way to back up data to the memory card either, so when I changed phones I had to re-enter everything :/

I use Herper pro, but want to change to Reptile scan. Herper pro have no more support and updates. That's sad, cause they have a really good concept, but c'est la vie... Tried some free and low budget softwares, but they don't have the functions what I need. If someone have just 2-3 snakes, maybe it's enough.

I am old and don't like change.
I was using 4X6 index cards until a couple months ago.
I am loving everything about Reptile Scan. :gj::gj:

    App in the works
Hey guys, I'm currently working on an app for this, it is semi slow going project as i work 10 hrs a day at my day job. I'm thinking it's probably going to launch late this year. Is there that much interest in this, I was thinking of running a kickstarter to help me out, but didnt know if i would get enough support.

The app would also connect to a website where your data is stored kind of like iherp but in no way affiliated, and also much better.

I would make the App free but the kicker is i may plan on a basic app (for free) and an advanced app at the cost of 1.99 to get access to the breeding tracker (among other things ;) ). both apps info would carry over to the website at no additional charge.

what do you all think do you think i would get enough support in a kick starter?

EDIT: my day job is a Sr. programmer for Time Warner Cable

I think the interest is there, but you would have to show some of what you are doing. I would consider supporting something, IF it met all of my needs.

What are the "among other things" you are thinking about adding? How would it be better?
