    Strawberry and cream
I was looking at different bp morphs on google and saw a couple pictures of a bp with a red belly and nice crisp colors. Of course it was a juvie so it will probably not keep those nice colors, but I've never seen one with such a pretty red color. Granted I am not up on the latest morphs. I don't want to hot link the photo, but it's the first couple if you search strawberry and cream ball python. Anyone seen this guy before? It was very interesting.

    It's from 2009. Link: http://www.reptileforums.co.uk/forum...ream-ball.html

Don't know if anything came of it.

Interesting but if the snakes proved out then I think we would see more specimens?

I believe the red bellies disappeared as they shed.

I saw that discussion after posting here. There isn't much that I could find so I guess nothing came of it. Oh well.

LOL they were probably kept on some sort of medium that had red dye in it.

I remember reading something about them being soaked in gatorade to bounce them back from severe dehydration after importing. Was a while ago so I don't have a link

The fact that the guy refuses to give any kind of answer to the 'who were the parents' 'where did these come from' makes me suspect these guys ended with dye on them either intentional or by accident.

A gatorade soak if concentrated powder was used might do the trick. I just don't see this have ever been a genetic thing since that shade of red doesn't exist on any ball python on the belly or elsewhere. Even sunsets are more of a brown/gold.

I thought it just looked like a bp that was about to shed.
