Disinfectants - Virosan

Just wondering if anyone has a good source to get Virosan or I believe the generic for of Virosan is called Chlorhexidine Solution.

If I'm not mistaken, this stuff can just be sprayed on and wiped off and is totally non-toxic to reptiles?

I am thinking about getting this stuff because 1) I have my cages on a rack and its not really easy to take them down and 2) I just use the plastic bottom of the cage w/no substrate so cleaning up after bowel movements is really easy. However I need to use a disinfectant that is not toxic to them. I've just been scrubbing with a very diluted water/dawn detergent solution.

hey brad, if you're going to the show on sunday i'll bring a 2oz. sample bottle i got in an order from matt. i bought a gallon. matt's price is cheaper than dr. baldwin's in chesterfield.

Check your local feed stores ,agri supply stores..etc..etc.

Yeah I got two 2oz bottles from Matt last month. I mixed one bottle(makes a gallon) and cleaned my cage with it, and I only used maybe a small cup of it. Still got plenty left. Those 2 ounces go a long way. :) Good stuff...
