    I just bought my ball python and I saw this on his eye? Should I be worried?

    It's sort of hard to tell what exactly that is. Might be a retained eye cap. Where did you get the snake?

    Are you talking about the white on the eye, or the mark towards the back corner of its mouth?

    Hard to tell with pic. If the eye is slightly dented, it's a lack of humidity and should be resolved as soon as you bump it up!

    I'm guessing it's a dent and the snake is dehydrated. What kind of enclosure are you using, how are you heating it, and what is the humidity in the enclosure?

    I got him from pet smart.. i know thats bad.. i don't think its a dent, his eye is perfectly normal. i should take him to the vet right? but that spot on his mouth i didnt notice until someone pointed it out... is that mouth rot?
