BP active and tries escaping at night

My BP is content during the day and he pretty much always stays in one of his hides. Hes always ready to eat as soon as I offer him his food and everything seems fine. But right around 9-11pmish he always gets very active. Now I know they're obviously nocturnal animals, it just seems like he's trying to escape quite a bit. I'll catch him crawling up the glass and looking for exits(also hear him fall a lot lol but he doesn't get hurt). One time I coulda swore he was randomly striking in his hide, but I wasn't positive. He just makes more noise than I would expect. He's not aggressive at all though, hasn't ever tried biting me once in the few months I've had him so far and I feed him in his cage. Does very well when I handle him, I think he even enjoys it a bit. Temps on the warm side are about 85-87 and the ambient is about 78-80. Humidity usually stays 50-60%, sometimes dropping below 50. As long as he's still eating, should I not really pay much attention to it?

I don't think it's anything to worry about. Mine does some crazy stuff like that too sometimes. As long as it's eating and cage husbandry is in check, I think it's just them being them. lol

Its pretty normal for them to cruise around at night.
As long as they're not constantly roaming throughout the day as well its not an issue.
Personally, I prefer handling later at night because they seem much more inquisitive and active than when I pull them out of a hide in the middle of the day

Snakes are escape artists. Every so often they try to hone their trade. :)

Pretty much what Dot does at night. She tears her cage up, pushes hides, pulls plants off the wall. I usually take her out and let her roam the bed but I gotta watch her like hawk. Both my boas got their favorite spots that they go to and will sit there for hours quietly. Dot is opposite, she will go for the floor all the time and try and explore. Or she will try and climb whatever she can get near except she sucks at climbing lol. I wouldn't worry unless yours is doing that in the day too. Then it might be a husbandry issue like temps, security, hunger etc.
