    hi there my male salmon is about 3.5ft and is quite sturdy! the little female normal is eating well she eats 2 med mice a week I have tried to switch to large but at the mo she turns her nose up, have tried weaner and crawler rats also turns nose up at, oh well I will get there eventually!

    I just noticed the dates.. the female is way to young for breeding.. More like 3 or 4 years old.. If by some miracle she became gravid chances are she woudl slug out or even die in the process....

    hi why the breeding post? I am not breeding her which is the smaller one till she would be at least 3 04 4 not 10 months!!! the male hypo the larger one shoudl be ready at the end of the yr as they can breed from 16 months!!!

    sorry the pics show my LARGER male salmon hypo and my SMALLER female normal both born june 2004. I put them in the same pic only to show difference in size, hopefully my male salmon hypo will be ready to breed next season but the SMALLER female will not be ready for at least 2 yrs probably more as her growth rate is soo slow! JUst wanted to post a simple pic showing the amazing difference in growth rates!!!
