    Transport with a BP
    Hello

43minute drive to my new snake saturday, what shall I take for transport? what is less stressful for a snake? Pillow case? something like that, or plastic pot with holes?

I brought mine home from an expo in a deli cup with holes in it. It was about a 75 mile drive. It did just fine on the seat beside me, but yea, I would think if you have a pillow case, that may be better. Just keep the car comfortably warm.

I have brought snakes home from the expo before. The breeder normally will give you the animal in something to transport them in. For hatchlings and small balls it will be a deli cup usuallly. For sub-adults to adults i have seen pillow cases, boxes, and foam coolers all with ventilation of course. As LTG stated just keep the car warm. :gj: Also with multiple purchases I bring a plastic tote just to keep them all together in the car.

**If the vendor does not give you something to transport the animal in i would not buy from them. I have never seen this done even with feeder rats.**

Bag + Rubber Tub for security - you do not want the snake getting loose in the car, they can disappear under the dash or into a seat all too quickly.
