    How do you know a fire is a fire?
    I bought a small fire male a couple of months ago. While I trust the seller, I want to know how do I recognize a fire morph when I see it.
    Can you help me?

    You can Google images or go on WOBP and look at examples. Other than that you can post a picture on here and ask people's opinions. If it is a good example the members will know. However, if it is a marginal example you may get conflicting answers.

    Sure looks like a Fire to me. Especially when you say the dorsal markings are much brighter and lighter which is how it should be.

    Looks like a fire to me as well! I bought a fire girl and also was iffy on fires vs normals before but you can really see a difference when you put them up to a normal, much brighter markings. Pretty one you have there!
