How Offten to feed my juvenile BP?

My vet tells me that a snake that small should be feed more than once a week but the things i have read said only once. I'm new to the snake world so any thoughts for a newbie

I got my bp when she was 65g. I've been feeding her appropriate sized prey every 6 days and she seems to be doing very well, now around 140g. What are you currently feeding her? If you are feeding her 10%-15% of her body weight, every 5-6 says should be fine for a while.

It's up to you it can be every 5 days or every 7 days, the important is to feed the appropriate size prey.

I feed the majority of me hatchlings once a week.

Depends on the snake.
Right out of the egg I offer every 3 or 4 days.
As they get some weight on them I switch to between 5 or 6 days.

Fuzzy mice are too small. Try mouse hoppers or rat fuzzies

I agree. My girl was small at 65g... she had mouse hoppers for about 4 weeks and has been on rat fuzzies since. They range from 14-24g, so order a bag of those and you're good to go.

I agree, mice fuzzies are too small. I would go to Rat fuzzies every 5-6 days. As he grows weigh him and try to keep the food item between 10-15% of his weight. Once he hits a few hundred grams and go to once a week. That was how i fed, my boy is 18 months and about 900 grams, and eats a small rat every 7-10 days. Believe me he lets me know when he's hungry.
