Hi there I am Mike and very new to the wonderful world of ball pythons . For to many years I've been afraid of snakes, till I went to a reptile expo and my 5 year old fell in love with the snakes. Now we are proud owners of a beautiful Lemon Pastel Firefly . I think I am more into Star ( the snake) than the rest of the family.
So far I've been following all the awesome forums on here and think I am just about got it tuned right in. I think the only question I have is how often should I feed her? The breeder said once a week .. Our friend worked at a breeder and was telling us since we're using med mice to feed her often 2 + times a week if she'll eat it . Should I switch to rat pups and do one a week or Finnish off the 20 med mice we got. She seems like every 2-3 days she starts getting very active pushing on the top going all around the cage. Thanks again for all the great advice I'll continue stuff my myself with everything I can about these great creatures
