pure idiocy!!!!

ok first off rees refused a rat again making this his 3rd week not eating(no biggie just wanted to let ya know) now back to the matter at hand. i saw something this weekend(saturday) that made me sick and disgusted and made me realize why their are so many reptile laws in ny. At 11:15 pm i was out side hanging out with some friends when one of them points out to someone and tells me " hey brian isn't that the same snake you have?" then i see a 4.5 ft ball python around a guys neck. now me knowing how easily stressed these snakes can get i was already cursing out loud in outrage but then i over hear one of the men that was with him say "man you've had that snake out all day and it's been really calm,do you think it is dying?" and the man replies " Eh, if it is i'll just get another one no problem." me being already extremely irritated and outraged went over to the man and his friends and asked if he knew what in the world he was doing to his snake and if he knew how cold it was outside(i said it in a much more disrespectful way i.e. cursing.insulting intelligence etc.) and after i was done explaining what he was doing to the snake he took it upstairs without a word excepti heard him and his friends just burst into laughter. Even though the snake was back in it's cage and was safe(hopefully) i still felt like my efforts were meaningless because even though it was like 73 degrees outside duruing the day it was really cold that night and the snake could be dead by now. i just wanted to share this with yo guys because i thought you all might be interested.

p.s. this is another reason why i can't wait to move to texas.

I wish I could apologize for all of the stupid people in this country, but I can't... I'd be hoarse when I got done. That's alot of people ;) Poor snake, hopefully he's doing alright, even though there's not anything anyone can do at this point.

If you move to Texas, give me a shout. I doubt I'll be going anywhere anytime soon. Today was about 80 degrees(give or take) and was pretty decent. Plus, you will forget what snow looks like unless you live in El Paso or somewhere out west. We didn't even get snow this winter. I have pictures of it though! :)

my mom can't get enough of the city life so she is going to either move to houston or dallas(great houses we have seen so far) and i had no idea you lived in texas so when i move i will definately look you up. and i jsut remebered i have a friend who lives in that guys building maybe she can find out how the snake is tommorow.

Bleh, don't move to Houston. There are some days when people aren't allowed outside because of the smog warning. The backyards are about as big as half of my room, and the houses are expensive. Dallas and the outskirts like Mansfield are really nice though. Houston is just so dirty and the people are so rude... BUt this is coming from a person who lives in Waco(Wacko). It's kind of small, about 150-200,000 people, but it's pretty nice and has "ok" nightlife.

I think Gozetec lives in San Antonio as well. I wonder if he's going to the July 30th show in Arlington? Oh Goz?! :)

thanks so much for that warning!!! my mom has terminal lounge disease and a visit to that place would probably put her in the hospital if it is that bad(and she really can't tolerate rude people lol) dallas was my main choice(so many pools and jacuzzi's lol) something you just don't get in new york. I might check out wacko too(my mother loves small communities,she loves getting to know the people around her) ok i'm hitting the hay gotta get up in 5 hours lol. good night bp.net :) !!!!!

Dont worry about your snake not eating sometimes in the winter the males can go up to 3 to 4 months with out eating.. Just keep trying he will eat someday.. As for this stupid guy you seen, its hard to believe but alot of people dont care about their pets.. I know its sad...
