Deep wound on 3 month old BP
She was playing in the artificial plants we have for her and she got stuck on the top of them. We didn't notice she was stuck for about 30 minutes as she usually plays and wraps around her plants. The top part of it by the suction cup had stabbed into her and she was just hanging there unable to move. Now she has a deep gash in her belly. We feel like terrible snake parents for not checking on her sooner. We can't afford to get her to a vet until next week. Any ideas on what we should do? Im trying to figure out how to post pictures and will post them as soon as I do.
Re: Deep wound on 3 month old BP
I removed the plants, changed the bedding out for paper towels, lessened her water (I saw that bacterial infections can occur from them soaking and that its better not to completely remove the water so they can still drinknwhen they need it but just to put less in her dish) and I put neospourn on it even though I know its not the best thing for her but I know I know it can help. I didn't see much bleeding so I'm assuming its not actually as deep as I think, just an over paranoid snake mom. In still having trouble getting pictures up.
Re: Deep wound on 3 month old BP
My baby has a vet appointment tomorrow, the soonest I was able to get her in, so any input between now and then would be greatly appreciated:)

The only thing I would do until the vet appointment is soak the baby in povidone iodine, not a lot but just enough to get a tint.

She went to the vet, they glued the wound. Lucky it did not puncture anything. I am able to resume feeding as normal! Thanks all for the advise!:)
