    Do I switch to pvc?
So I currently have a gorgeous large glass terrarium for my bp. It's set up nice and perfect but I move a lot for work and it's such a pain to move!

So I am thinking of switching to a pvc terrarium. Roughly same measurements but not as high. I imagine way lighter!

I feel the pvc won't look as nice and I feel silly paying so much to downgrade to something that doesn't look as great. But I've heard lots of good things. Does anyone suggest the move to pvc? Will it make my life easier for ease of moving, less space etc

I definitely recommend it. I've animal plastics. I have two t8s and I love the way they look. As far as moving goes, any enclosure is going to be a pain to move. The t8 is lighter than a glass 40g breeder or any big sized tank. Plus, it is much easier to maintain heat and humidity in a pvc enclosure.

Pvc cages are very light, look excellent, are stackable, easy to clean and hold heat and humidity perfectly.
It would certainly be easier to move and they take much less space

Looks good! Kind of wish I got the front opening doors instead of sliding.

Wow that's gorgeous! I guess with a little research on heating, and light it I'll be good to go. I just know I won't get much money for my glass terrarium and I'll have to switch from a heat lamp to a radiant panel, aka more money.... But I should be use to that in this hobby!

Animal Plastics is a great company and have great customer service. Really glad I chose to purchase from them.

Prices are excellent as well. Thanks for the suggestion! I'm thinking about switching to a sliding glass or acrylic front-opening system. How do you lock swing-open doors with hinges in the front??

Love my Animal Plastics enclosures! Easy heating and no humidity problems. I think that PVC enclosures are a lot more esthetically pleasing than glass terrariums but that's just my opinion.

    Here's my setup:

I ordered from greg west at cornels world and it took two weeks from quote to being at my door. Highly recommend him if you're in canada.
SKO - why don't you like sliding doors? I love mine, it makes feeding time super easy and they come off in a second for cleaning
