How to keep a T8 humid enough?
I finally got Pepper in his new T8 and it's been great so far, I'm just having a little trouble keeping the humidity up and I was wondering if anyone had any tips?

Are you using radiant heat panels in the T-8. I'm thinking of upgrading next year, but I also had the same thoughts on heat and humidity. I will say, I second the moss idea since it was a life saver in my 20 gal long for attaining humidity.

What kind of substrate are you using? With coco husk and a waterbowl you should have perfect (45-60%) humidity.

Agreed. Substrate choice makes a huge difference. A pvc cage generally is going to hold humidity pretty well. It's can be dry during the winter with your house heat drying everything up but a good substrate and one good mist every day or two will keep the humidity up in the enclosure.
