Strange behavior while shedding and then throwing up...
    Hey gang,

My snake has been shedding for about a week now and is very close to being fully shed.

Tonight I saw him cruising his tank with his mouth slightly open and then it got open wider AND THEN his body started to curl/twist a little odd AND THEN he threw up a small hard greyish looking clump...

He has not eaten in about a week due to the shed...anybody seen anything like this before? Should I be concerned? Really weird stuff!

Not sure if this matters but it was minutes after he pooped too...

I just found this video online of exactly what happened to my ball tonight...

The puke even looks the same except much smaller...like the size of a bullet maybe...but the same mouth open and twisty behavior.

I watched the youtube video and I'm pretty sure that snake regurgitated a rat.

Yes, but similar to my incident, my shake hasn't eaten in about a week.

Is your snake acting weird other than the obvious throwing up part. And when you say shedding for a week meaning like it has stuck shed? If its stuck shed your humidity isn't high enough. I'm not judging just trying to understand. [:

Any pics of what came up?

Sounds like a regurg but without being there or at least seeing it in a pic anything we say is just a guess.

Sounds like the humidity is still to low and needs some more work.

Why is your snake taking a whole week to shed? Maybe I'm misunderstaanding--has he been "in shed" (blue) for a week, or actively shedding? The active shed process should take a few hours max... Boost humidity for sure!
