    Can I SWITCH?
Owner before me fed live. . But it bothers me so much to do that. If my snake has been feeding live am I not to change that and even if I can. . Would he do it? ?

Also, I keep reading different things about feeding him... as far as where to feed him... take him out, keep him in his enclosure... helpppp please?? & thank you

You'll have to ask your snake, we don't know what he is going to do. Offer a f/t and see what happens. Might take a couple tries even if he does take it eventually.

Mine switched and took the f/t the very first time I offered. Haven't had any feeding issues since offering only F/T. Others aren't so lucky. Just have to try it.

Of course you should try but that doesn't mean the animal will switch for you . Either right away or down the road. I have a male in my rack who took f/ t in the past when he was younger but absolutely refuses to accept f/t now. I've tried numerous times to get him to switch and he's refused. I stopped trying bc I felt I should give him what he enjoys eating. These animals are captives, the least we can do is give them the food they will readily accept. That's just me. Haha.

I may just keep him on what he's been on then.
Should I take him out his enclosure when he does feed and should it be at night time??

You can feed him in his enclosure. There's no need to move him to feed him. You can feed at any hour. My snakes generally eat mid-afternoon because that's when it's convenient to feed them.

There's no harm in trying to switch him to F/T. This site has a ton of tips on how to feed FT. One of the best tips I see is to make sure he is secure in his home first. Since your snake is eating live, you can make certain that he is eating and happy. Then warming the FT prey up properly and hitting it with a little hot air from a hair dryer to make it a nice enticing hot spot helps to encourage the snake to see it as the same as live.

No leave him in the enclosure and it doesn't matter when you feed them for most snakes
