Aggressive Because of Shed?
Hi. So I know that snakes get stressed during a shed because they get blind/sensitive depending on how far along the shed is. I didn't even try to feed this week because I knew she was going into shed. So she stayed foggy for a couple days and I upped the humidity to make it easier. I also know they clear up about the day before they actually shed. She cleared up 2 days ago now and there was no skin anywhere. When I reached in to check the moisture in her hide/change her water for the day/mist the cage, she was SUPER snippy and jumpy like she was still in early shed. Is there something wrong?
Re: Aggressive Because of Shed?
I am not as expearienced as others here, but from what i have seen in my own snakes iwould say be a little patient your snake might take another couple of days to complete the shed. just keep the humidity up and that will help. My corn snake gets really strikey when she's in shed, and my BP hides and doesn't want to be handled till he comes out. Last shed took almost 10 days start to finish.
