Anyone else have a super friendly BP?
Out of all my BPs (8 total that I take care of), I have just one that is extremely friendly and actually seems to enjoy being handled. She's my little coral glow girl named Quorra. She lives in my bedroom in a T8 and is the only snake that's really a true pet to me. Whenever I come in the room she comes poking out of her hide and if I offer my hand she will climb aboard to be handled. If I did that to most of my other snakes, I'd probably get bit. Anyone else have BPs like this? I am curious if her offspring will have similar personalities, as I plan to breed her once she's grown up.

And yes, her second favorite pastime is knocking over my thermometer in the back of her cage...One day I'll put a screw in there to keep it upright.

I have my first snake she's around 3 and a half years old her names precious and she has never bit or struck out at anybody and I was even helping her out of shed it was rolling right off perfectly right up until the tail she gave a jerk and before I could let go the shed skin tore her new skin and I saw blood I felt soo bad I wanted to cry so I fixed her up but it wasn't till after I realized she didn't bit me and I think it's because she knew I didn't mean too

Both my BCI boa girls are like that. They love to come out and ride on me or stretch out on the bed or :cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r: on my chair back. But out of those 2, my sunglow is the friendliest. She constantly sits by me or uses her tail to hold my finger or wrist of some part of me. If she is "detached" from me, she will curl up in the boa coils and sit there. My pied girl is a terror though lol. She loves to come out as well but when out, all she wants to do is get in trouble. She tries climbing the light fixtures or tables or anything she can get close to, she will try and climb it. its like she is not even a BP but a GTP or something haha.

Zyali, my male BP, is like that. I open the cage, and he comes out and crawls onto my hand.

Your girl is an absolute cutie! My pied girl Toffi is the same way. Very eager to hang out with my husband and I. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...bdf9b0c944.jpg

My slightly over a year old male super pastel is very friendly but he won't really come out of his hide to me like that. He's never hissed or struck and really handles well. He did stop the other day while I was putting him back in his T8 and get a drink while I was holding him which I thought was pretty cool.

My Nugget, spinner blast male is a real sweetie. If we open his viv he will come out and coil on the arm of the sofa. He loves being cradled like a baby, and is so relaxed he just lets his coils drape over our arms. I still say its a security thing, the more secure an animal feels the more relaxed they are, and the more they will seek out that feeling of security and comfort.
