    please help with handling
ok... i got moe a month ok.... i left him alone till he eat 4 times and let him be when he shed... i handled him everday and he seemed fine. since he shed 2 weeks ago he has been very dart-ey when i try to handle him he makes quick darting moves almost like he is going to bite me.. now when i go into his cage he balls up tight and hides his head... what can i do.. should i be stuborn and keep handling him.. or leave him alone for awhile, and if i should leave him alone.. how long should i let him be for????

id say be persistant and keep handling. if you get use to leaving him alone everytime he runs or balls up, then hes gonna know that all he has to do is that to avoid it. once he learns your not gonna hurt him, then hell accept it more. you can try wearing a Tshirt overnight then placing part of it in the cage to get him use to your smell

You definately hafta stay with it! Hissy is a stubborn little girl and she really just doesn't wanna be bothered. I have been handling her regularly for over a year now & she still tries to run away when i go to pick her up. As soon as I get her out though she relaxes & realizes that all is well. Just be persistant & he will come around!

I used the shirt trick and it worked wonders. Ben still is a little aprehensive about coming out, but as long as I move slowly he is alright. Once I get him out he is just fine :) in a month or so, you will think back on this post and laugh! Stick with it;)
