    Am I seeing things?
Just need someone to double check me on this.

She's been off feed for about a month. If this is what I think it is, it's my first clutch in over 20 years. Is it wishful thinking?

Are you thinking ovy? I'm not seeing ovulation there - there's not the "swallowed a football" look that is typical of a full-blown ovulation. Could be building though - I do see a hint of "lumpiness".

    When was her last shed?

So that definitely wasn't a pre-lay shed then. I was thinking there might have been a slim possibility of a missed-ovy. I'll go with my original thought of being in the building follicles stage. If you've been pairing her, don't stop now. :)

Oh there's a very good chance I'll miss the ovulation! I'm having to relearn a bunch of stuff! No prelay shed though. That I'm sure of. Thanks for chiming in.

Just an update. She's gone from hugging the cold side to staying on the heat now. Hopefully good things to come.

Update. It's been just over a month since her last successful lockup with Grif, the Mojave Yellow Belly. She's refused any other attempt. She's still not eating and not loosing weight so I'm not worried there. She did just complete her shed a couple of days ago. When I run my hands down her, she feels very solid the last third of her body. Guess it's time to start the clock and make sure the incubator is all set. Here's hoping I'm not wrong.
