Ball pythons

Just got a couple young ball pythons a cinnamon and a pastel

The cinnamon's tip of tail is deformed I believe. It's bent upward
Its a very beautiful cinnamon other then the bent tail.

I never even noticed it till I looked at it closer. I'm hoping it'll be alright...?

Unfortunately an aggressive ball python is something keepers will run into. I know I have a fair few myself.

As for the deformed tail... how deformed are we talking about. If it is at the very tip of the tail then I think it should be alright. It may have been broken at some point or it could be born with it. Its bot really a fact more of a suspicion that a snake born deformed will produce deformed babies. I haven't tested it myself but I am not so sure this is true.

It's at very tip. Looks like it was caught in cage or something

My super pastel female seemed extremely aggressive when I first got her. Constant striking, puffing and hissing - I wore leather gloves to take her out. As soon as I got her to take a mouse, though, she settled right down and has been mellow ever since.

Okay. Yeah the lady I got her from pulled her out. And waved her hand in front of her. And next thing you know she lunged at her. Lol. I have several. And never dealt with that. Guess I'll try and work with her alot
What kinda gloves would be good?

I just used a pair of leather gardening gloves that I happened to have anyway, that I'd used with organic gardening - so no pesticides on them. She never once tried to bite them. She only went for bare skin - I think she was just hungry, though she refused to take f/t at all. After a month of not eating, I tried a live, and she went for it immediately. So - fear + hunger.
