    ***************** Snake dies Suddenly !!!
Info: I have ball pythons in a rack system with heat tape and a herpstat 2 thermostat.

I went in to check out my snakes with my brother, my Spider Ball python was dead. He had no signs of any problems.

I had him in a large tub.... well he died and I also had another snake bp in a smaller tub n top that fit in the large tub that the spider bp was in.... that snake is fine.

Snake ate around 3 weeks ago and is about 1.5 years old

Any help why he died to prevent it again from happening.

All your gonna get from us is guesses, you want real answers you need a necropsy as soon as possible.

This is a very common question and the answer will always be the same... the only way to find out is by getting a necropsy. Sorry, but no one here can tell you why he died.

Getting a necropsy is really the only way to know. We can only guess.

Ive been through this and I know it sucks.

Sorry for your loss. I do agree that all we can do is speculate on the etiology of his death. Spiders do have a genetic predisposition to neurological issues. Have no clue if that has anything to do with his demise. Sorry again. :(
