    grr!
my bp skipped the last feeding session didnt even look at it and then i thought it was because of the size of it this time i fed it a small instead of a medium and it bit attacked it 3 times and then just left it alone so now im just going to leave the p/k rat in there and see if it eats it, this is making me a little frustrated now i cant even imagine how frustrated those people are that have the bps that go on fast for a while!

Dont worry man! Your bp will start eating again. All mine just started eating again, one of which did not eat for 7 1/2 months.

And to be honest, I no longer stress when they quit eating, in fact- I dont worry about it until they have not eaten for a long time and show minimal/slight weight loss, and only then do I get a bit concerned. It seems bp's are famous for this type of behavior due to so many things influencing thier eating and behavior habits. (IMO) They do seem to get stressed more so than anyother species I have ever had. But you know, I love then just the same, and have learned to live with them. Just got to not get yourself all worked up about it.

When I see posts where ppl are freaking out or worried, etc. about thier bp not eating I ask myself "why are bp's reccommended as a first time snake?" I can imagine how I would react if a bp was my first snake, and it went off feed... I would really freak.

When you say it attacked the smaller prey, did it hold on or just bite and release?

If it just bit and released, it sounds to me that your BP is quite stressed about something. I'd double check temps, humidity, etc. If that all checks out, wait a week or 2 and try again.
