    So long Major Tom!
I just wanted to acknowledge the passing of a truly unique and talented individual/musician/showman. David Bowie was so innovative in his approach to music and entertainment that I doubt anyone will ever be able to compare. Most people seemed to either love him or hate him. His impact on the music world didn't allow for neutrality. For me, Sweet Thing, Candidate, and Sweet Thing (Reprise) are 9+ minutes of complete awe struck amazement at the musical arrangements and story telling he was able to orchestrate and construct based on the Orwell classic "1984". In addition he played most of the instruments himself and overdubbed the tracks. The world of music lost a remarkable talent yesterday. RIP David

He will be missed by many more than those who won't. And the legacy he leaves behind will endure many, many more years.

RIP David Bowie, and thank you.
