What genes do i enter in calculator to get redtailed boa entered as the male??

I am unfamiliar with the boa genes but am trying to use a boa calculator to help a friend see what his possibilities are ... I found the sunglow gene for his female on the calculator however I can't find red-tailed which is the male he has ... Which genes do I need to select for redtail ... Thanks in advance :gj:

Or is this one of those pointless pairings as all you will get is normal's or something like that?? Again I am unfamiliar with boa genetics ... I am a ball python guy myself, and I don't think he knows much about genetics (there is quite a language barrier between us)

"Red tail" isn't a morph. It usually describes the species of Boa. True red tails are BCC, but BCI are often described as red tail, also.

I'm unfamiliar with Boa genetics, but the pairing would be sunglow x normal

Ok ... So sunglow it a two gene red tail morph then?? When I run normal X sunglow through the calculator I get

50% Hypo, Het. Albino T- (Kahl)
50% Het. Albino T- (Kahl)

Thanks for the patients to all that end up giving me some direction .... I spent almost two years studying Ball python genetics and then I look at the boa genetics and realized I was out of my league!! LOL

Sunglow in boas is Hypo (co-dom) and Albino (recessive)
The original salmon/hypos are thought to be of Panama origin so most boas with hypo are locality crosses
There are two strains of albino, original aka kahl and sharp. Named after the people that established them and they are not compatible. If the strain is not mentioned, assume it's original/kahl

Breeding a sunglow to a normal would result in all babies being (100%) het for albino and 50% of them would be visual hypos.
