This is Titan, my Striped Bredlis Python. He's great , very calm and curious. I've had a Jungle Jag before but this guy is awesome. He's about 8 feet long and 4+ years old. I don't have any plans to breed him as of yet. I do have a few questions.
What is the proper humidity for Bredlis? I've read a ton of contradictary information. Where can I find a hide large enough for him? That still looks naturalistic. I have one but seems to like being out and about more than in it.
I also have a idea for a custom enclosure for him so stay tuned.

Re: My New Addition Striped Bredli Python
My Bredli spends a lot of time out and about, too. For a hide, I'd look for one that fits, and then camouflage it behind (artificial) foliage. But most of our hides are red plastic parts bins, not at all discreet. [emoji4]

My New Addition Striped Bredli Python
Ran out of time--
My Coastals and Jungle rarely spend time in their hide. Same with my Boas.
Five of my 7 snakes started spending most of the time in their water bowls once presented with one big enough that they could fit in. They seem to only come out when they need to thermoregulate. Then back to the bowl. I think it is like a pseudo-hide, they feel more secure in their bowls.

Re: My New Addition Striped Bredli Python
I've always seen the Bredlis with the red coloring or brick. He's dang near dark chocolate brown. His striped is a cool contrast between colors. So what you guys is saying is 20-30% humidity? My analog gauge is reading 0% most the time. Before you say get a digital one I have two on the way.
