UPDATED. Is this a proper tank setup? Albino bp
I posted recently asking if my setup was within standards for a BP. I got a lot of good tips/info and have improved the tank. So here it is!

    Aspen bedding
    2 medium reptile hide boxes
    Water bowl
    Cork round
    Random greenery
Under tank heater and supplemental lighting(for heat)
    Temp: Hot- ~95°f
    Cool- ~80°f
Humidity is a bit of an issue keeping at 50% at the moment; however I am fixing it

Any suggestions/comments are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Getting humidity to regulate was a challenge for me for a while. i live in an extremely dry climate so if i didn't make changes then the humidity in my tank could get down to 10%. But I got some spagnum moss and put it in a plastic container with a hole in the lid to let out the humidity and it keeps my tank in the right conditions. It is so much easier than misting every morning and night as well as wetting towels above his cage twice a day. also if you check out this http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...-With-Pictures This should help with any other questions you have.

The moss is a great idea. Did you buy moss like this?

That is the moss that I use. I use a plastic container with holes in the lid as well. Works great. I think your set up looks good. You may want to try to get your hot side temp down a little closer to 90°. Are you running a thermostat with the heater?

Jumping in just to ask if it is possible to have a picture of that moss bowl? Can the snake get in it or is it really just there for humidity ?

How are you measuring and controlling your temperatures?

Those hides are really big for a young snake. I'd push them down into the substrate to make them smaller and provide a tighter fit. Also you could consider wrapping 3 sides of the tank to give your snake a more secure environment.

And instead of a plastic bowl I simply use a small hide stuffed with damp moss to keep up the humidity level.

If that uth is not on a thermostat or being regulated some way you need to unplug it asap before your baby has a chance to burn them selfs
