Thought I'd show off my uromastyx

Here's a picture of Onyx, also known as Onyx Thorntail, the angry lizard. He was sold to us as a Mali, but I really don't know. He was in awful shape when we got him, with what looked like an old burn down the center of his back, he was underweight, and spent 3 days in the animal hospital. He is healthy now, 6 months later, but still is skittish.

I probably paid way to much, 250. But I fell in love with him at first sight. Vet estimated he is between 3-4 years old.

I rescued a Saharan Uro from a university student that abandoned him with no food, no shelter, nothing. He was in rough shape too. We've had him since the beginning of the summer and he's finally looking well. He had what looked like bits of a bad shed stuck in a few spots. He just finished his first real shed with us and we managed to get the last of his bad shed off.
